Primary Party

Last night my primary girls and I had a party at my house. It was super fun! Sometimes I forget that they are only 9 because we have so much fun together and they are all so grown up. At our party, we played with Dexter, who did a wonderful job entertaining the whole night, facials and watched The Grinch and ate pizza. Four hours goes by fast!

I've had quite the week. It's only Friday, but I am exhauuuusted.

This is what I did so far:

Stuffed calendars, about 500 to be exact, the last of the bunch out of about 16,000... hallelujah

 

Came down with the flu that included the highest fever I've had in 8 years. [holy crap, has it been 8 years since I was 16? Cue mid-life crisis.]

 

Wrote Christmas cards and signed them with my cats' paw prints... Yeah, I dipped them on an ink pad and everything.

 

Downloaded the Sims 3- it's pretty cool.

 

Got yelled at by a realtor for something that happened when I wasn't working, so that was nice.

 

Got advice from an older woman on the secret to a successful marriage is waiting until you're older, and how i should do the same... (well, i'm screwed then i guess).

 

Made Christmas presents

 

Ate chips and pie for dinner

 

Got several compliments on my pins on pinterest, which then resulted in a much needed ego boost

 

Debated the phenomena that is grown up mean girls and adult friendships with warren, maybe there will be more on that later...

 

Unfriended people on facebook, because of said debate from earlier

 

Went shopping

Entered Ellens 12 Days of Giveaways
 

Decorated 3 Christmas trees, none of which were mine

 

Oh, and last but certainly not least... DROPPED MY IPHONE IN A PUBLIC TOILET AT THE MALL WHILE IT WAS FLUSHING. The good news is that it still works! But it did sleep in a bed of rice that night.

 

It's been quite the week, and I am excited for the weekend so I can sit and do nothing. I'm a loser.
