I don't even know her name, but she is my hero. They are some what new to the ward, and I feel just awful that I don't know her by name, just face. Her husband, I believe is in the army, or has some sort of job that takes him away from his family. There have only been a select number of Sunday's where I have seen him there. They have the cutest children. A two year old boy, who has given the title 'Terrible Two's' it's respected name. She also has a little baby girl. There are days when I literally cry for her, and I have. Kids are hard to raise, and especially when your husband is gone.
One Sunday in particular, I felt so touched, I wish I could have done more than what I did do, which was nothing. The baby started crying in the middle of Sacrament meeting, and so she got up to walk around, but it didn't help... so she stepped outside so not to take away from the meeting, leaving the diaper bag at her seat. Because her little boy is too young to understand what was going on, he followed her out of the meeting into the hall. The baby was still crying... and she was stuck outside without the diaper bag, and without anyone to go get it for her. I'm glad that someone else noticed at the same moment I did, and got up to help her. Ever since then I have noticed her. She is here, each Sunday, baby in arm's... and a toddler. She often misses most of the classes... the young boy isn't a fan of primary yet. She comes with the intent of learning, even if she can't be there where the lesson is being taught. Since she is new to the ward, there aren't many who even know she's a member of the ward at all. I watch her sometimes, and I can tell she is stressed, and hasn't gotten much sleep. Yet she is beautiful. She comes to church every Sunday looking her best, and even had time to dress her little ones in Sunday Best. Her boy usually pulls her hair down, and the baby usually spits up on her dress, but she takes the Spirit with her no matter where she is.
She is my new hero. I complain so much about so many different things, and yet, she probably doesn't even have time to think about the things that are bothering her. She puts up with so much, and does it with a smile. What an example she is to me, and I don't even know her name.
