La intro
Oh look! Pink! I've been thinking a lot about this whole 'blog' thing... and I finally decided to jump on the blogging bandwagon. So, ta-da! I don't really know what to say. I drive in my car across town to work, which is only like 10 minutes tops... but for some reason it seems like I have about 28 different conversations with myself in my head. Something that would take normal functioning peoples' brains about 3 days... and I always think, "why don't I create a blog so people can read my thoughts. Everyone else does it, and I can even upload pictures!" So, please, read my thoughts... that I have so carefully scripted out for your entertainment.
I had a roommate last year, well we were roommates the year before, too- but this last year she started reading the Twilight series. I thought it was kind of lame because I'm not a big reader, especially when I asked what was so great about these books that would entrap her mind so deeply as to lock me out of the apartment multiple times in one night, and her response was vampires. She actually continued the whole plot line but once the word 'vampire' came out of her mouth I was pretty much dead set on never reading those books. I lost interest immediately and just smiled and nodded and went on my way to the kitchen, or some place where I knew I would be distracted from the thought of vampires. Long story short, this summer my other friend Katie, was reading them at work one day. I decided to take a gander at this here book, just to see what everyone was raving about so much. Lo and behold I liked the 1 and a half page of the book, and decided to read it myself. So I went and bought the first one. Read it entirely in 3 days this last summer. So I bought the 2nd. I was told this one would take me much longer to finish because it wasn't that great. It took me 2 days. Let it be noted that I haven't read a book that I was genuinely interested in since the 4th grade when I read the Amber Brown books. So I got the 3rd. This one took me about 4 days to finish. Then I got the 4th book, and I have yet to finish it- but that's not what I'm getting at here. I am now addicted to those books.
I recently got married. Woot! Let me tell you it was a difficult path. All this planning and stressing out and saving money. Not to mention my hubby was in Canada for the summer, which was the majority of our engagement. Lovely. Before then, however, I was dating a missionary whom I had dated once in high school. I know, kind of sad but for some reason he kind of won my heart back, through letters of course. Unfortunately it didn't work out, for him... ha!
I went to Utah State University for approximately 1.5 years. Kind of sad, but it was harder than I thought it was going to be. Jumping into college right after high school was a dumb mistake for me. Granted, I enjoyed my time living in the dorms and living the college life, the classes, the part that actually matters- killed me, however. Thus ending my college career abruptly in the middle of the school year. Now I just work mostly full time. I say mostly because I'm not technically a 'full time employee', but I usually get 40 hours a week.
I'm tired, and nothing else seems to come to mind. Time to upload some pitchas'!
peace
