A Long Road to Recovery
For past, um, I don't know, like 6 weeks I've been really sick. It started (this is going to sound odd) with nightmares. Not just normal nightmares though, ones that had people throwing up in them. I'd wake up afterwards and feel really sick to my stomach. The next night, I'd be fine. Well then it started to pick up, and eventually I didn't have to have a dream to feel sick, all I had to do was eat basically. Then I got this incredible migraine. I've gotten one once before when I was in high school, and we didn't know what it was until I ended up in the ER from passing out. Well, I had a perscription for migraines, but they wouldn't help this one I had a few weeks ago. It got so bad that I lost sleep. I was up a straight 30 hours before I finally got so tired that I passed out. During the day however, I felt fine. I started to get chest pain, and my left arm went all numb... this is when we figured out this was something more serious that we thought. My mom got really scared for me. I ended up in the ER because I felt so sick... it was miserable. They hooked me up to an IV... never had one of those before. The next Monday I went to my Dr. here in town, and I told them I wanted to be put on a different birth control pill because this one was making super sick. I'm not the only one who was having similar side effects, and I couldn't think of any other reason as to why I'm sick all the time. They asked what my symptoms were, and I told them... they gladly accepted my request and set up an appointment for me to meet with the Dr and talk about it all. So between Monday and Thursday, I started freaking out a lot because I was so scared of what was going on. Not to mention I felt even sicker, but the problem now was that my appetite was completely gone, and I still felt like throwing up. My mom came down to go with me to my appointment because Warren was too scared, plus he had school. We talked with the Dr for at least an hour... she told me that she didn't think it was the birth control because I would have felt all this months ago when I first started. Makes sense. Long story short, they took me off the BC and are monitoring me... they also did some blood work to see if it's something else. Diabetes runs in my family, so they tested me for that. She also thought I could be Aniemic, they did a pregnancy test just incase, though my chances are pretty slim, and thyroid. Did I mention my throat felt like it was being choaked? Cuz it did... Tomorrow I go back in to the Dr to get my results and talk some more about what's been happening. I just want to feel better! This is ruining my life!

Politics?
So I voted a couple days ago. My first Presidential election to be voting in. A milestone in my life, for sure. I was really scared, because I'm totally one of those people who gets up the courage to be different, then when it's my turn, I crack under the pressure and just go along with everyone else. What am I talking about? I'll get there.
For many American's, they are stubborn. Very set in their ways. Close minded, and think they always have the right answer. I hate those people who complain so much about the job the president is doing, and come to find they didn't even vote. It bugs me so much! Maybe my opinion has become slightly bias because I took AP Government in high school, and my teacher was a democrat, or maybe it's because I was raised in a highly conservative/republican home and I feel the need to fulfill my rebellion by going in a different direction politically... or maybe it's because I took Economics from a former CIA Agent, who taught me everything about the economy and how it works... I don't really know.
But I do know that the economy is suffering. For those of you who may not know why the economy rises and falls the way it does... it's really complicated. Not gonna lie. But it's necessary for the good, and even more necessary for the bad. The economy follows a cyclical cycle... meaning, it rises and falls (good and bad) but as it does this, it gradually continues upwards.
Anyways, in order to make the economy continue to grow, we need certain things implemented. i.e. the next president, depending on what party he is affiliated with, will implement certain things... such as taxes, and how much should be spent on the war, or the national budget and debt. This is what makes the cycle grow. Ironically, to make this all successful, we need a new party affiliate in the Oval Office. So, basically, because Bush was a republican, we now need a democrat to to help the economy recover. It's kind of confusing, and of course I'm not as good of a teacher as my teacher was, but you kinda get the idea?
Anyways, so I voted for Obama. Not because I wanted to be different from everyone else in Utah... but because I really think he will do a good job. Plus, my opinions on big issues like abortion and gay marriage have changed so significantly, and I feel that they just fall more along the same ideals as Obama, thus my vote for him as president. Anyways, I'm getting a headache... and need to lay down... peace.
