Homesick

Last night, I was writing a letter to one of my best friends who just left on a mission in Georgia, and all of a sudden it just came out all over her letter, that I am terribly homesick. I just started bawling. It's not the homesick I'm used to. I don't exactly want to be sitting in my mom's lap or anything like that, but I'm definitely not calling this place home. No matter what I do, I'm still struggling. I'm struggling with friends, too. I don't have many here. I have a couple, but I am so much younger than them, and they all have babies. We are all interested in different things, and I sometimes feel like I don't fit in. Like I need to be different person when I'm with them.
Does anyone have any tips for helping me cope with all this? Anything I can do to not feel so down all the time?
